Inspired by the space where digital and physical forms meet, Wang & Söderström’s Double Donut Doorstop is a unique sculptural object that serves as a miniature piece of art while holding doors open in place or keeping doors from knocking against the wall. Each doorstop begins as an organically shaped 3D model developed in their studio before it’s 3D printed and molded in resin. “We want to explore the tactile side of digital modeling – one foot in the physical realm, one in the digital,” the designers say.
