For 58 years, Danish designer Hans Wegner conceived memorable, comfortable, stunning furniture for Carl Hansen & Søn, which continues to produce his works today. Known as the “chair-maker of chair-makers,” Wegner was a prolific designer with a unique ability to bring an elegant lightness to sturdy, long-lasting chairs that remains unmatched. His CH29P Sawbuck Chair (1952) is marked by clean, simple lines and unique construction. It’s distinguished by a shallow frame fitted with a wide seat and deeply curved back with cutouts for comfort and visual appeal. Made in Denmark.
