This LED pendant features a fabric shade that seems to float within a transparent glass shell. Not only is the combination of materials beguiling, but it also adds dimension and warmth to the emitted light.
Details
The Mercer Pendant (2005) encases its LED bulb within not one but two lampshades. The inner shade, made of cotton, comes in a traditional pleated or contemporary smooth version. The outer shade, made from hand-blown glass, encases its cotton partner, contrasting its texture. When the pendant is off, the shades appear to be an airborne sculpture; when it is on, the pairing adds a warm quality to the light. Bulb (not included): 11W LED, E26 base. UL Listed. Made in Spain/EU.
