The impact of light on an interior’s atmosphere is a concept with which Workstead is intimately familiar. The multidisciplinary design firm operates studios in Brooklyn and Hudson, New York, dedicating the latter exclusively to lighting. Part of Workstead’s Signal collection, this sconce diffuses soft light from a hand-blown opal glass globe, while its hewn brass backplate reflects the globe for a luminous effect. Bulb (included): 5W/E12 LED.
