Believing that a task chair is more than just a comfortable place to sit for an extended period of time, industrial designer Marc Newson created something completely new. The silhouette of the Newson Task Chair (2022) is one continuous line with a cantilevered shape made possible by a brand-new tilt innovation – one that flips the mechanism vertically, so it’s concealed beneath the seat. This T1 Control allows you to tailor the recline experience, and the rubberized honeycomb back supports you through any movement. Refined textures on every surface provide an appealing sensory experience, and brightly colored knobs are conveniently placed for easy adjustments.
