Springing from a collaboration between high-end French furniture maker Laval and Danish design firm OEO Studio, Laval (2012) is a fresh take on the traditional roll-top desk. It features simple, clean lines with an inlaid leather writing surface and a lidded compartment on the desktop for storing stationery, chargers, and more. Finished with a lithe frame in solid wood and brass-plated fittings, Laval serves as an embodiment of material juxtaposition that lends itself particularly well to home workspaces. Made in China.
