Charles and Ray Eames are known worldwide for their furniture, materials, and textiles. Their Dot Pattern was created in 1947 for an exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and has been woven into a Wool Blanket made of soft merino lambswool. These special limited-edition colors are available only at DWR in the U.S. Featuring a large scale arrangement of crosses and dots, Dot Pattern draws from the Ray Eames’ abstract paintings from the 1930s. Woven in a jacquard weave, the colors are reversed on front and back. Made in Germany.

Charles and Ray Eames

Design is for living. That maxim shaped a widespread shift in design during the 1940s and '50s. It was a revolution of form, an exciting visual language that signaled a new age and a fresh start – and two of its prime movers were Charles and Ray Eames. This husband-and-wife team's unique synergy led to a whole new look in furniture. Lean and modern. Sleek and simple. Beautifully functional.
