Braided stories —
A modern update on hand-braided rugs, the variegated, durable Braided Rug adds comfort, warmth, and color underfoot.
Details
After experimenting with braiding, crocheting, and weaving, designer Clara von Zweigbergk combined techniques to design her Braided Rug for HAY. To create this sturdy, lasting floor covering, skilled artisans start with three colors of wool and cotton yarn, which are hand braided before being tightly woven together. It takes one month to create each rug. The result offers a modern take on traditional braided rugs. Made in India.
