About the Store
Our newly expanded Chicago Studio is located at the southern edge of Lincoln Park, an area rich with restaurants, specialty stores and performance venues, including the renowned Steppenwolf Theater. Among our largest, the space displays furniture and accessories in dramatic, innovative contexts. For example, 35 fully realized room vignettes with workspace, living, dining and bedroom solutions provide inspiration on the many ways to incorporate modern pieces into the home. The Swatch Wall, a matrix of 300 fabric and leather samples representing the many that DWR offers, is both helpful and a beautiful piece of design. A Dining Test lab with 50 classic chairs allows visitors to try out various options, while a Light Cloud with over a hundred pendant fixtures creates a stunning display of the offerings. An expanded assortment of accessories, storage options and outdoor furniture round out the collection. The Studio’s friendly, knowledgeable team is on hand to provide a host of complimentary Design Services, including one-on-one consultations, in-home visits, 3-D renderings of your spaces and plenty of help measuring and dreaming.
