To create the Element Rug (2019) Maharam collaborated with Stefan Scholten and Carole Baijings, Dutch designers known for innovative use of grids, color, and layered patterns. Reflecting their unique geometric style, this handwoven rug combines specially developed felted wool yarn with contrasting rayon yarn bordering a single edge. Made in India.
