When Gabriel Tan met Maria Adelina – the last-known weaver in the furniture-producing town of Paços de Ferreira, Portugal – he was instantly inspired by her passion for her craft. A 60-year-old woman with the enthusiasm and optimism of a young artist, she thrives on her thirst to learn and continue to perfect her skills. In a special collaboration, the two of them created The Weaver’s Collection (2022) to showcase Adelina’s craft. Please note: As a handcrafted product, each stool is unique.
