Thanks to a special collaboration between Rietveld Originals and HAY, the Crate Collection (1934) is back in production, ready to be enjoyed by Gerrit Rietveld fans worldwide. The Crate Lounge Chair is true to the Dutch architect’s original design, with low proportions, a gently sloping back and seat, and supportive armrests. Its transparent construction is also true to Rietveld’s original intent, which was to minimize production costs and optimize the assembly process. Made in China.
  • Wood has been dried to a humidity specifically for outdoor use; indoor use not recommended.
  • Made of solid pine with a water-based lacquered finish.
