Growing up in a resourceful do-it-yourself family, John Paul Plauché learned how to design and create objects at an early age. His handcrafted Geometric Fire Pit (2004) is made of premium Corten steel and can be used with seasoned wood or charcoal. A pipe-shaped plug is included for preventing coals or ash from falling through the opening while allowing enough airflow to fuel the fire. For outdoor use only.

Plodes Studio
John Paul Plauché and Roya Plauché launched Plodes Studio in 2005, having met while studying architecture at the Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture and Design at the University of Houston. After Roya went on to study at Columbia University and John set out to explore product design ideas, they focused Plodes at the intersection of art, industrial design and architecture.
