Lydia Bassis

A visual language of personal symbols defines the work of abstract artist Lydia Bassis. Her paintings often capture the feeling of being lost in thought, and explore “unseen things in our world, like energy, and experiences that can’t be put into words.” The Seattle-based painter holds an MFA in addition to a BFA in printmaking and BA in art history, and exhibits at galleries across the U.S.
