Contrast is a recurring theme in the Harar collection, inspired by the city's architecture and textiles. The Argo Pillow's contrasting grid lines float over bold base, offering a nod to mid century graphic design. Meanwhile, the name "Argo" comes from one of the five gates that surround the city of Harar, giving new meaning to this sturdy architectural motif. Pieces vary slightly from one piece to the next due to their handmade fabrication. Made in Ethiopia.

After a decade in architecture, Hana Getachew decided to merge her passion for design with a love of fabrics from her native Ethiopia, and Bolé Road Textiles was born. Getachew's designs are handwoven by artisans in Ethiopia, making each piece one of a kind. The vivid patterns and bright colors evoke the vibrant culture she grew up with and honor the heritage and traditional crafts of the region.
