Details

Jens Risom was a minimalist by design, and his Console Table (1970) reflects his approach. To make the piece visually light, he opted for an open sleigh base and recessed top rail, which creates the appearance of the surface floating above the frame. Two drawers add storage yet preserve the spare profile. The table is compact enough for an entryway or may serve as a small desk in a living room. Part of the Jens Risom Collection. Made in Estonia.
  • Compact console table that can be used as a desk.
  • Finger-joint joinery and lacquer finish highlight the wood’s beauty.
  • Two drawers provide hidden storage.
  • Minimalist profile, with open sleigh base and recessed top rail.
  • Designed by Jens Risom.
