Furniture delivery +
measuring guide
From sofas to dining tables to beds, ensure the furniture you select will fit in your home – before you place your order – with this step-by-step measuring guide.

Elevators + stairways
If our delivery professionals are required to use an elevator or stairway, ensure your furniture can be transported by measuring the interior height and width of the elevator as well as the door opening. When you measure the width of your stairway, account for handrails and posts. Finally, measure the ceiling height from the bottom and top steps.

Doorways + hallways
Measure the interior height and width of doorways and halls, accounting for trim. Compare measurements with the product dimensions to determine if the furniture can go straight through entryways or if it will need to be angled.

Prepare for in-home delivery
The widths of all doors, halls, and stairs must exceed the depth or height of the piece. Clear a path and move any existing furniture out of the way. Our in-home delivery experts will bring the piece into the room of your choice, unpack and fully assemble it, and remove all packaging materials.
