When designing the After Series Dining Table (2025), Michael Anastassiades drew inspiration from Danish greats and Fritz Hansen’s 150-year heritage. The result is an exacting interplay – down to the millimeter – of geometry and craftsmanship achieved through traditional cabinetmaking techniques. Cypriot-born, London-based Anastassiades distills diverse references into "pure, simple structures," creating works "characterised by a poetic yet rigorous interpretation of technology, materials, and functions." Made in Poland. Made in Sweden.
  • The round tabletop appears to float, creating visual openness.
  • Cross-shaped legs bring stability and sculptural presence.
  • Part of the After Series collection, the first collaboration between Michael Anastassiades and Fritz Hansen.

Michael Anastassiades

Michael Anastassiades’ work, with its focus on proportion and material honesty, celebrates the physical presence and enduring quality of an object. “What makes an object survive time?” he wonders. “Can it become more beautiful as it ages?”
