Venezuela-born Pablo Pardo graduated in 1986 with an industrial design degree from the University of Cincinnati. In 1993, he established Pablo Designs in San Francisco, a studio that has since gained international recognition for its creations. The studio operates with the belief that the right lighting can transform almost any environment, challenging traditional designs with innovative solutions that distill lighting down to its bare essence: form and light. Circa (2013) is a flat-panel LED lamp that provides warm and balanced illumination. Using just 11 watts, Circa provides surprisingly bright light for its size, and its innovative low-energy LEDs have a 50,000-hour life span. Suitable for a variety of residential and commercial applications. ETL Listed. Made in China.

Pablo Pardo

Venezuelan-born Pablo Pardo comes from a family of designers, and his work is deceptively simple, often made from no more than a couple of materials, beautifully crafted and devoid of superfluous details. Once in use, however, his lamps take on a new character that is more experiential than simply visual. It is the experience rather than the look of an object that Pardo seeks in his designs.
