Details
Disinterested in novelty, Jasper Morrison prefers to add fresh perspective to common forms. His Glo-Ball Suspension Lamp (1998) does just that, infusing the ubiquitous fixture with a quiet glamor. An acid-etched diffuser made of opaline glass serves as the lamp’s shade; each is hand-blown and casts a soft, luminous light. The fixture suspends from a thin steel wire, creating an illusion of floating. Bulb (not included): halogen 100–150W/T10/E26. UL Listed.

Jasper Morrison
Jasper Morrison considers himself to be, first and foremost, a conceptual designer. Unconcerned with the novelty of new or unexpected forms, Morrison takes familiar shapes, often banal, and reworks them until a heretofore-unseen work emerges.
