Details
Marcel Wanders approaches life – and design – with a childlike sense of wonder and appreciation for the world he lives and works in. In that spirit, his Skynest Pendant (2022) combines the simple form of a woven nest with embedded LED modules that evoke a glowing sun. The airy, interwoven strands are a combination of colored tubular mesh and luminous vertical strands that are white on the interior to emit light. Bulb (included): LED module. UL Listed. Made in Italy.

Marcel Wanders
The founder of his own Amsterdam design studio, as well as co-founder of the brand Moooi, Dutch designer Marcel Wanders is known for his innovative approach. In 2011, The New York Times called him the “Lady Gaga of Design” for being unconventional, creative, and energetic.
