Details
An elegant classic for any living space, the 5321 Table Lamp (1941) was inspired by the shape of a seashell. Finnish designer Paavo Tynell’s strength as a metalsmith is evident in the shade's play of light. On the top, the ridges create eye-catching ribbons of shadows and light, while on the underside, the textured surface softens the lamplight to create an atmospheric glow. Bulb (not included): E26 base, 2W-4W LED recommended. UL Listed. Made in China.

Paavo Tynell
Known as “The man who illuminated Finland,” lighting pioneer Paavo Tynell began his career when electricity was in its infancy. In 1918 he co-founded the country’s first lighting company, bringing light to Scandinavia. But it was his ability to create indirect, atmospheric light that led Tynell to collaborate with major architects – including Alvar Aalto – designing now-iconic fixtures and lamps.
