Details

Originally called “The Night Stand Lamp” by Danish designer Poul Henningsen, the PH Luna (1939) has a distinctly curvy stem that exudes a timeless elegance. The head of the lamp is adjustable and emits a soft, warm glow. Initially 230 mm tall, this edition has been slightly enlarged to suit contemporary needs. Bulb (not included): 1x25W E26. Made in Denmark.

Poul Henningsen

Trained as an architect, Poul Henningsen is best known for a series of lighting fixtures that resulted from his fascination with the then-new technology of the electric light bulb. In 1925, one of these fixtures won first prize for lighting at the International Exposition of Decorative Arts in Paris. The next year it was put into production by Louis Poulsen & Co.
