Consistent with all of Florence Knoll’s designs, this sizable bench has a spare geometric profile that reflects the objective perfectionism and rational design approach its designer learned from her mentor, Mies van der Rohe. It features a plush tufted cushion mounted atop a chromed steel base. Choose from square and rectangular versions.

One of the most innovative architects and designers of our time, Florence Knoll Bassett had a profound influence on more than 50 years of interiors. An early protégée of Eero Saarinen, Florence went on to study architecture at Cranbrook. She is famous for her philosophy of “total design,” and as the director of the Knoll Planning Unit she revolutionized interior space planning.
