The Grand Repos Panchina Bench (2011) serves as an individual seat or a comforting footrest for the Repos and Grand Repos Lounge Chairs. Its slender profile and die-cast aluminum legs create continuity with the Grand Repos family, while its deliberately minimal form allows surrounding architecture to take precedence. Equally suited beneath a window or paired with the chair, it offers function without assertion. Designed by Italian architect Antonio Citterio, who has collaborated with Vitra since 1988. Made in Finland.
  • A perfect match with the Grand Repos Lounge Chair.
  • Slender profile designed for narrow or transition spaces.
  • From Italian architect and designer Antonio Citterio, known for his elegant, minimalist aesthetic.

Antonio Citterio

Antonio Citterio creates visual interest and harmony by combining materials and forms in original, yet relatively thoughtful and decorous ways. Born in Meda, a small city north of Milan, Citterio graduated in architecture from the Politecnico of Milan in 1972 and established a design studio with Paolo Nava, who remained a close collaborator until 1981.
