With its combination of gently rounded teak slats and powder-coated steel, the Pelagus Dining Chair (2022) feels grounded in nature but equally at home in urban settings. Warm wood offers inviting comfort, while slender lines make it easy to group around a table. The armless chair stacks neatly in fours, and the armchair in twos, for compact storage. Designed for outdoor use, it’s the work of Stockholm-based Note Design Studio, a multidisciplinary practice that creates pieces as diverse as their hometown’s archipelago. The chair pairs beautifully with the Pelagus Dining Table as well as other teak tables. Made from solid teak, it will develop a soft-gray patina if left to age naturally outdoors. Made in Indonesia.
