The Miguelito Outdoor Lounge Chair dates to the 1940s and the work of designer Michael van Beuren, a New York native who trained under Josef Albers and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. His move to Mexico in 1937 saw him apply modernist principles to the country's vernacular forms – like this chair’s sculptural wooden ribs tempered by material warmth. Made in Portugal.
