Details
Boldly colored heavy wool
Kristine Five Melvær investigates and bridges the disciplines of product design and graphic design, focusing on realizing communicative potential of different objects and materials as a means to create emotional bonds with users. Simple yet sensuous, her Mikkel Throw (2015) is the result of inspiration from the Bauhaus movement and traditional Norwegian weaving. It’s crafted from boldly colored heavy wool that requires minimal care, produced without harsh chemicals. Made in Norway.
