Little Wing Lee starts from art, not interiors. The Semita Round Rug (2026), designed exclusively for DWR by her firm, Studio & Projects, features a hand-drawn spiral that began with kilims, Constructivist paintings, and the memory of a childhood rug at her family home in Hawaii. Broken geometry is her signature – deliberate but never symmetrical. Pile heights shift across striped New Zealand wool to play sheen against matte, graphic from across the room and textured up close. Rug pad recommended. Made in India.
