Details
To create the beautiful Mita Rug (2023), all techniques are performed by hand. First, the natural wool is hand-carded (where wool fibers are cleaned and prepared) and then handspun. Then it's loomed and knotted by hand, combining a flatweave ground with Moroccan-style shag ridges. The result is a plush textile that references tradition while maintaining a modern feel. The Mita Rug should be vacuumed periodically without a rotating brush. Shedding is a natural, common occurrence and will decrease over time. Made in India.
