Details

The Beetle Side Chair (2013) is built on a sturdy frame that cradles the sitter in comfort while striking an interesting silhouette between traditional and surprising. The molded wood seat back is made with revolutionary 3-D molding technology, resulting in a sculptural form that both embraces and supports. Beetle was designed by Danish architect Stine Gam and Italian architect Enrico Fratesi, the founders of Copenhagen-based GamFratesi. Made in the EU.

GamFratesi

Copenhagen native Stine Gam and Italian Enrico Fratesi formed GamFratesi to celebrate the intersection of their diverse cultural backgrounds, allowing them to move between two design cultures – Danish simplicity and Italian intellectualism – with a fluidity that shows in their offerings.
