Details

The Coluna Vase (2022) is the result of a collaboration between designer Hallgeir Homstvedt and master ceramicist Joao Lourenço for Origin Made. Made from a unique, coarse clay with grains of varied sizes, developed by Lourenço specially for this piece, it has a rich, tactile surface. The Coluna Vase is hand-thrown and then fired to highlight the character of the materials. The crisp geometry of the slender column with a distinctive wide rim is juxtaposed with the rugged material. Made in Portugal.
