Details

Nicely sized for use in a bedroom or home office, the Allegory Vanity (2015) is an homage to Michael Thonet’s signature steam-bent furniture from the late 19th century. Designed by Italian-Danish team GamFratesi, Allegory features a rectangular work surface juxtaposed with a round screen made of steam-bent solid beech and woven cane. The octagonal pattern of the weave adds visual texture and allows the screen to be used as a memo board on which you can clip notes or pictures.
  • Can be used as a vanity or desk.
  • Steam-bent beech mixed with Viennese cane.
  • Screen adds visual interest and provides privacy.
  • Available with or without storage.

GamFratesi

Copenhagen native Stine Gam and Italian Enrico Fratesi formed GamFratesi to celebrate the intersection of their diverse cultural backgrounds, allowing them to move between two design cultures – Danish simplicity and Italian intellectualism – with a fluidity that shows in their offerings.
