The U-Line Series Lounge Chair from Geiger is an elegant take on banquette seating. It’s defined by fluid lines and a low seat back – all detailed in piping. Designed with a deceptively deep seat, it allows sitters to instantly and elegantly relax.

Produced by Geiger in North Carolina, U-Series seating was originally designed by Ward Bennett in 1979 for handbag designer Reva Ostrow’s Manhattan apartment. Reintroduced in the 21st century to his specifications, the U-Series is dramatic, but not boastful, much like the designer himself.
  • Modern lounge chair.
  • Outlined in piping detail.
  • High-resiliency foam seat cushions.

Ward Bennett

With his signature “sensual minimalism” as his guide, Ward Bennett designed more than 150 chairs. Hailed by the American Institute of Architects, Bennett is credited as an American pioneer in the use of industrial materials for home furnishings – a prime example being his early ’60s I Beam Table, which employs a section of beam for a base.
