The Avio Sectional (2016), by Italian designer Piero Lissoni for Knoll, skillfully balances volume and visual lightness. The seating’s generous, sheltering cushions contrast with slender steel frames, creating beautifully proportioned, welcoming forms. The innovative modular seating system Lissoni devised is relaxed yet elegant, juxtaposing deep comfort with modern lightness. The Avio Sectional is also incredibly durable, with a steel beam at its core that acts as a spine for the sofa, with each seat attached directly to the beam. This is a spacious sectional everyone will gravitate to and vie to sit in its deep, cozy corners. Made in Italy.
