In 2008, French manufacturer Ligne Roset brought it back into production, with modern updates and enrichments, and named it the Tanis Desk. Made in France.

Pierre Paulin

Modernist French designer Pierre Paulin was a pioneer in low-level living. While his oeuvre spans decades of modern materials, techniques, and industrial projects, he’s best known for introducing a new approach to sitting — one that bid adieu to chair legs and embraced low-slung profiles for easy, laid-back lounging. Paulin’s iconic designs figure in museums and collections around the world.
