The popular Crosshatch Collection is now available in teak for outdoor relaxation and enjoyment. Designed by the Austrian firm Eoos, Crosshatch began with a desire to use an industrial material in a handcrafted way, resulting in a lattice that’s both structural and decorative. After a year of testing ropes, they found the ideal choice to be parachute cord, which stays taut and won’t stretch over time. This outdoor collection features gracefully curved, solid teak frames and cushions in weather-resistant Sunbrella Heritage fabric, which has an elegant linen-like hand.
  • Gracefully curved solid teak construction.
  • Unique latticed suspension in all-weather parachute cord.
  • UV- and mildew-resistant Sunbrella upholstery.
  • Fabric has slight flecks in it by design.
  • Plush, quick-drying foam cushions.
  • This teak will develop a warm, silvery patina over time.

EOOS

“For us, design is a poetic discipline,” says Gernot Bohmann, one of the triumvirate who with Harald Gründl and Martin Bergmann is EOOS. From their base in Vienna, Austria, these three have been making poetry in the form of furniture, objects, and spaces since 1995, for brands from A to Z, literally from Armani (cosmetic stores) to Zumtobel (LED lighting).
