Growing up in a resourceful do-it-yourself family, John Paul Plauché learned how to design and create objects at an early age. A man with an inquisitive, artistic mind, Plauché earned a degree in architecture before starting Plodes Studio, a multidisciplinary workshop that provides clients with architectural, interior and product design solutions. This cedar top (2004) turns his Plodes Geometric Fire Pit into a table when not lit. Made in U.S.A.

Geometric Fire Pit sold separately.

Plodes Studio

John Paul Plauché and Roya Plauché launched Plodes Studio in 2005, having met while studying architecture at the Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture and Design at the University of Houston. After Roya went on to study at Columbia University and John set out to explore product design ideas, they focused Plodes at the intersection of art, industrial design and architecture.
