Description

Borrowing its name from the plant that inspired it, the Heracleum Pendant (2014) consists of LEDs embedded in leaf-shaped polycarbonate lenses attached to delicate metal stems to create a natural-looking form. Each lens rotates freely on its stem, allowing for an infinite number of possible configurations. Heracleum is the work of Dutch designer Bertjan Pot, who begins every new project by researching materials, experimenting with functionality and working with manufacturers to push boundaries. The technology that makes this lamp possible is the Electrosandwich®, a conductive layer design devised by Moooi co-founder Marcel Wanders, designed to provide warm white lighting. Bulbs (included): 45 LEDs, 12W max. UL Listed. Heracleum resides in the permanent collection of the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam. Made in the Netherlands.

  • Create a Heracleum Endless Pendant of any length by simply connecting one pendant to another.
  • It can grow in a straight line, a zigzag pattern or form geometric shapes.
  • This pendant includes one straight connection piece. For details on bent connection pieces, please call 1.800.944.2233.
  • If you intend to connect multiple pendants, please note that each will require its own junction box.
