Details
A lighting icon goes cordless. In 1930, prolific Danish designer Poul Henningsen conceived a multi-shade lamp that would direct light where it was most needed. Now, the PH2-1 Portable Light brings its softly diffused glow absolutely anywhere – even outdoors. Featuring mouth-blown opal glass atop an elegant chromed-brass stand, the portable PH 2-1 is equipped with an LED light source, a 4.9 ft USB-C charging cable, and a sophisticated function that switches between stepped and stepless dimming. Henningsen’s timeless aesthetic will add elegant ambience indoors and out, from low-lit patios to sunset picnics. Integrated LED. UL Listed. Made in Denmark.

Poul Henningsen
Trained as an architect, Poul Henningsen is best known for a series of lighting fixtures that resulted from his fascination with the then-new technology of the electric light bulb. In 1925, one of these fixtures won first prize for lighting at the International Exposition of Decorative Arts in Paris. The next year it was put into production by Louis Poulsen & Co.
