Details

Compactly scaled and elegant in its simplicity, the Pixo Plus LED Table Lamp with Wireless Charging (2011) is the work of twin brothers Pablo and Fernando Pardo. Pixo has a head that rotates 360 degrees and a stem that rotates and tilts 180 degrees to direct light anywhere it's needed, in addition to a fully variable dimmer for flexibility. It provides surprisingly warm, bright light for its size via low-energy LEDs with a 50,000-hour life span. Advanced technology allows the LEDs to run cooler, providing consistent, long-lasting and uniform light. As a bonus, the Pardo twins have included a USB port and induction pad in the base for both wired and wireless charging of mobile devices. ETL Listed.

This lamp has a fully variable dimmer. Place your finger on the optical switch on the lamp head to adjust brightness or turn the light on and off.

Pablo Pardo

Venezuelan-born Pablo Pardo comes from a family of designers, and his work is deceptively simple, often made from no more than a couple of materials, beautifully crafted and devoid of superfluous details. Once in use, however, his lamps take on a new character that is more experiential than simply visual. It is the experience rather than the look of an object that Pardo seeks in his designs.
