Reflecting the exuberant optimism of the 1960s, the Croissant was Danish designer Illum Wikkelsø’s playful take on the Chesterfield club chair, using the French pastry as his inspiration. This new version by Gubi has been subtly refined to suit today’s bodies. The complex curves of the chair’s embracing form are achieved through meticulous hand stitching and it sits on a solid walnut base and legs. Croissant is an elegant statement-making piece that will provide comfort and spark joy for generations to come. Made in Poland.
