Architect and designer Carlo De Carli embraced intellectual rigor, artisanal tradition, and livable design, leaving an indelible mark on Italian modernism. One of De Carli’s final pieces, the Poltrana Tria Lounge Chair (1973) fully embodies his approach. Handmade in rattan with steam-bending techniques, its winglike armrests and streamlined curves create a linear yet organic silhouette. Two deep-set removable foam cushions ensure soft yet supportive comfort. Made in Denmark.
