A pioneer of the Danish Modern movement, Knofod-Larsen immersed himself in every step of creation. His ultimate focus, however, was on the comfort of the person seated. This thoughtfully crafted ottoman is an open invitation to lounge. Its ample padding and organic shape make a timeless addition to any home. Made in Denmark.

Ib Kofod-Larsen

As Danish Modernism expanded globally in the 1950s and ‘60s, architect Ib Kofod-Larsen became one of the most exciting figures of the movement. A trained cabinetmaker, his furniture is marked by subtle details, organic lines, and a visual lightness. Celebrated pieces include the Penguin Chair and Seal Chair, as well as Module U56, renamed the Elizabeth Chair after Queen Elizabeth II acquired two.
