Details
Experience the calming sensation of floating while grounded with the MR01 Initial Outdoor Lounge Chair (2021) by Danish designer Mathias Steen Rasmussen. Its low-slung, triangle frame is constructed without a single screw in FSC®-certified iroko, a naturally oil-rich hardwood ideal for outdoor use. The gently angled seat and backrest are hand-woven from nearly 100 yards of rope, using a method the designer developed himself, in high-performance waterproof, UV- and mold-resistant polyester. Originally designed for both lounging and meditation, the MR01’s lightweight form is made to inhabit the most tranquil of outdoor spaces. Made in Italy.
