Designer Stine Aas finds inspiration in Scandinavia’s enduring design traditions. Land Collection – named for “country” in her native Norwegian – draws from woodworking techniques and the Arts and Crafts movement, with classic trestle bases, tongue-and-groove joinery, and timber sourced from North American hardwood forests within 350 miles of the West Virginia facility. “I think Norwegian design is inspired by the land around us,” she says. “It’s always been a local and quite sustainable way of thinking about production and design.” Land Storage Console (2025) is crafted for everyday living – keeping collected objects and daily essentials beautifully organized.
