A magnificent blend of lines, color, and glass, Philippe Starck’s Boxinbox (2015) is designed to catch the eye. The freestanding crystal bookcase consists of two precise layers: a laminated thermo-welded glass display case, which encases a transparent colored-glass shelving unit. Both sit atop a meticulously polished stainless steel base. Boxinbox reflects Starck’s fascination with museum displays – glass boxes that hold and elevate their contents. Choose from three sizes to showcase collectables or books within its striking and sculptural form. Made in Italy.

Philippe Starck

School dropout Philippe Starck jump-started his career by designing two nightclub interiors in Paris in the 1970s. The iconoclast designer went on to define a similarly hedonistic style of design in the 1980s and 90s. His interiors and products have sensual, appealing forms suggestive of character or personal identity, and Starck often conferred upon them clever, poetic or whimsical names.
