About the Studio
Hello. We’re open for business.
We’ve missed you and we look forward to welcoming you back into the store. But first, a few ground rules. To keep our community safe, we ask that you remain six feet away from others and wear a mask while inside the store, and please stay home if you aren’t feeling well. As always, we’re also taking orders and providing complimentary design services by phone, chat and video.
Located at the corner of Kansas and 15th Streets in the heart of San Francisco’s design district, this 20,000-square-foot Studio is among our largest. The DWR San Francisco Garden, an installation of native greenery in dozens of Arena and Thornton planters, greets visitors just outside the Studio’s entrance. Step inside, and features include a large Light Cloud with dozens of pendant fixtures, a Swatch Wall with hundreds of upholstery options and a Dining Test Lab for trying out 70 iconic dining chairs. Thirty fully realized rooms – including living, dining and bedroom areas – provide inspiration on the many ways to live with modern design. There are also storage, outdoor and café solutions. The Studio’s friendly, knowledgeable team also is on hand to provide a host of complimentary Design Services, including one-on-one consultations, in-home visits, 3-D renderings of your spaces and plenty of help measuring and dreaming.
Parking is available in front of the building.

“Bask in the rays of the Light Cloud, a super sweet lighting installation that greets visitors upon entrance to the showroom (see opening image). Lanterns, sputniks, and spherical light fixtures float overhead as guests peruse the Design Library Swatch Walls. Here, you can run your hands over the textures of 500 tiles, upholstered in fabrics and leathers available for DWR products. These mosaic walls span 60 feet of colorful textile goodness.” – California Home + Design
