For actor, producer, and PATTERN Beauty founder Tracee Ellis Ross, beauty is a celebration of self-expression. As her company grew, so did the need for an office where people could connect and feel inspired by what surrounds them. DWR helped her create a space that reflected this. “I have a very eclectic design style. DWR was able to help warm up the space and create eclectic, joyful warmth,” she says.

Designing joy
PATTERN Beauty was born from Tracee’s personal journey. “I didn’t see a standard of beauty that really made space for curly, coily, and tight-textured hair.” That same ethos helped inform her vision of an office. “What I love most is when people can actually feel confident and have agency in the truth of who they are.”
