Smart design in the public sector with Rob Forbes and Leo Marmol.
DWR founder Rob Forbes and architect Leo Marmol will join us in the Austin Studio for a lively presentation and discussion, opening a dialogue about smart design. Forbes founded DWR in 1999 and recently created Studio Forbes (www.studioforbes.com), which concerns itself with issues of design, culture and commerce. This spring, Studio Forbes is also launching PUBLIC (www.publicbikes.com), a company focused on alternatives to the car. Leo Marmol, FAIA, is Managing Principle of Marmol Radziner + Associates (www.marmol-radziner.com). Established in 1989, Marmol Radziner is a Los Angeles based, award-winning architecture and construction design-build firm. Refreshments will be served.
